The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (HPSCB) will temporarily suspend several banking and digital services as it upgrades its Core Banking System (CBS) to Finacle under the NABARD Umbrella Project. The disruption will last from 5 pm on July 17 to 10 am on July 22.
According to the bank's public notice, branch banking, ATMs, internet banking, mobile banking, UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, RuPay debit card services, AEPS and other services linked to the CBS will remain unavailable during this period.
The bank said the upgrade to Finacle CBS version 10.2.25 is designed to provide customers with faster, safer and more efficient banking services. The migration is part of the NABARD Umbrella Project, which aims to modernise cooperative banks across the country.
Customers have been advised to complete important banking transactions before the maintenance work begins. Planning payments and transfers in advance will help avoid inconvenience during the service outage.
HPSCB said it regrets the temporary disruption and assured customers that the migration work will be completed as quickly as possible. The bank expects all services to be restored within the announced schedule.
The bank also thanked customers for their cooperation and support. It said the technology upgrade will help build a more secure, reliable and advanced banking platform for the future.

Earlier this year, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu praised HPSCB for improving its banking services while continuing to serve the public. He also appreciated the bank's role in implementing government initiatives, including the e-taxi scheme, and ensuring that financial benefits reach eligible people on time.
Managing Director Shravan Manta said HPSCB has steadily improved its financial performance, expanded its network of branches and introduced more digital banking facilities to make banking easier and more convenient for customers.
