The incident involving the Indian Air Force jawan falling unconscious during the celebration of the 92nd anniversary at Tambaram Air Force Station in Chennai is concerning, especially following the tragic events at the air show on Marina Beach. 

 

The deaths due to the high temperature during the show highlight the importance of proper planning and public safety measures in such large-scale events.

 

Tamil Nadu’s Health Minister Ma Subramanian acknowledged the situation and provided updates on those affected, noting the steps taken to address the heat-related issues. 

 

However, the opposition, represented by Bharatiya Janata Party Tamil Nadu Vice President Narayanan Thirupathy, criticised the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam government for inadequate planning and poor coordination between authorities, including the state police.
