Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday conducted the 'Janata Darshan' programme, personally meeting petitioners from various districts and listening to their grievances.
During the public outreach initiative, the Chief Minister received applications from citizens and immediately instructed concerned officials to take prompt and effective action. He made it clear that illegal encroachments will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
CM Yogi emphasised that the state government’s ongoing strict campaign against land mafia and strongmen will continue unabated and regularly. He directed officials to ensure swift and satisfactory resolution of the issues raised by the public, assuring them that the government remains fully committed to addressing their concerns.
Several petitioners approached the Chief Minister to report instances of land encroachment and assault. Yogi Adityanath personally met each individual, patiently heard their complaints, and accepted their written applications.

Following these interactions, he instructed administrative and police authorities to expedite the hearing and resolution of law-and revenue-related cases at the district level. The Chief Minister reiterated that "Law and order are a priority for the government. Any negligence in this matter will not be tolerated."
He further directed officers at the district, division, range, and zone levels to persist with the strictest possible measures against strongmen and land mafia on a regular basis, reinforcing the administration’s zero-tolerance stance on such activities.
