A cyclonic circulation over northwest Madhya Pradesh, linked to a trough extending to West Bengal, will bring isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) to Bihar, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal over the next two to three days.

Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh are expected to experience these conditions for the next four to five days.

Heavy rainfall at isolated places is expected in Odisha from June 6 to 8 and in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands on June 9 and 10.

In the northwest plains, a Western Disturbance characterised by a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan and a trough in the middle tropospheric westerlies will bring scattered to fairly widespread light rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on June 6 and 7.
