BJP MP Anurag Thakur on Thursday issued a stern warning to Pakistan, stating that any further acts of terrorism would invite a stronger response from India. Speaking during the Tiranga Yatra in Paonta Sahib and Nahan, Thakur cautioned Pakistan against continuing its terror activities, saying India’s retaliation would be even more severe if provoked again.
Taking a dig at opposition leaders, the former Union minister said those questioning the surgical strike, air strike, or Operation Sindoor were echoing the narrative of Pakistan.
"India does not tease anyone but if anyone teases us then he will not be spared at any cost," he said and praised the bravery, patience and indomitable courage of the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor.
Thakur asserted that the Indian Army has demonstrated its professional excellence globally by destroying terrorist hideouts and enemy military bases with unmatched precision—carrying out operations without causing civilian harm.
Speaking during the Tiranga Yatra in Paonta Sahib and Nahan, the Hamirpur MP alleged that those who question the bravery and success of India’s military operations are acting in the interest of hostile nations. Thakur also questioned the silence of such leaders during China's attempts to encroach upon Doklam, accusing them of serving enemy interests while living in India.
Meanwhile, BJP state president Rajiv Bindal said the party has formally asked the state government to take swift action to remove illegal residents, including Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, and Rohingyas, from Himachal Pradesh. If the government fails to act, the BJP will launch street protests, he warned.
Bindal further alleged that the state government, driven by vote-bank politics, was neglecting national security by not addressing the presence of such foreign intruders.
