DIG Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range Sridhar Patil said the police raided 15 houses belonging to terrorists operating within and outside J&K. Police officials said the searches were aimed at intensifying the police crackdown on insurgency following recent activities taking place in the district from across the border.

The locations searched by police were spread in the Bhaderwah, Gandoh, Thathri and Kastigarh areas of district Doda.  The officials further said that “These terrorists are operating from POJK and are assisting the foreign terrorists active in the district."

During the raids, the Police recovered the communication devices and other electronic gadgets from the suspected locations. Their houses were also searched, and some incriminating documents were seized.
