In an interview, Jan Suraaj chief Prashant Kishor made a sensational prediction about Bihar’s political future, asserting that the Janata Dal (United), or JD(U), will win fewer than 25 seats in the upcoming assembly election. He further claimed the Bharatiya Janata Party would also suffer losses, and the Opposition alliance would finish in a distant third place.

Kishor (or PK), a former election strategist and consultant, said that his Jan Suraaj party would contest all 243 seats and would not form alliances with any other group. Kishor said that his party "will either be first or come last."

Kishor also launched an attack on Janata Dal (United) leader and Bihar minister Ashok Choudhary, confirming that he would send him a defamation notice. However, he stressed: "But merely sending a notice doesn’t absolve anyone. I have accused him of corruption worth ₹200 crore. Ashok Choudhary should say whether he bought land or not. And if he did, why did he buy it in the name of his PA (personal assistant)?" Kishor demanded, questioning if the JD(U) leader was "above the law" and exempt from accountability.

Taking a swipe at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Jan Suraaj chief recalled that the senior leader himself used to insist that any party official facing allegations should explain themselves and resign. Kishor concluded that Kumar was "no longer able to control the state's administration," adding: "Nitish Kumar may not be a bad person, but leaders and officers around him are looting. If Nitish is not a thief, then who is stealing?"

Addressing his party’s preparations, Kishor said he would decide within four or five days whether he would personally contest the election, though he clarified that his family would not participate. He noted that his wife is a doctor who visits occasionally, and his son is young.

He categorically rejected the Bihar government's scheme to give financial aid of ₹10,000 to women in the poll-bound state, calling it a simple bribe rather than a game-changer. Kishor also took an aim at AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi for practising "religious politics," stating that Jan Suraaj would maintain a distance from him. Alleging that Kumar had compromised on corruption and crime, Kishor cited the murder charges against prominent figures like Samrat Chaudhary and Dilip Jaiswal, stating they are now the faces of power. He promised to soon expose four or five more prominent figures, adding, "I will reveal more."
