Japanese firms eye investment opportunities in MP: CM Yadav

During the visit, several Japanese companies showed interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that his recent four-day visit to Japan was focused on building business ties ahead of the state's Global Investors Summit on February 24-25.


During the visit, several Japanese companies showed interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh.


"To strengthen relations between Japan and Madhya Pradesh and boost the state's development under PM Modi's leadership, we are organizing a global summit in February. Many companies from different sectors have shown interest in investing," CM Yadav told reporters on Sunday.

 

He also highlighted the strong historical ties between India and Japan and said that his visit further reinforced this connection.


CM Yadav returned to India on Saturday and described his Japan trip as "pleasant and successful" in a post on X (formerly Twitter).


"This visit will open new investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh and strengthen India-Japan relations. Japan will also participate as a partner country in the upcoming Global Investors Summit in Bhopal," he wrote.

During his visit, CM Yadav attended a business session in Osaka on Thursday, where he invited industrialists to take part in the summit. He received a positive response from Japanese investors, with several showing interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh.

 

CM Yadav was deeply touched by the warm farewell he received at the Imperial Hotel in Osaka. In a video he shared on X, the hotel staff lined up and clapped as he left. In response, he folded his hands and thanked them.

 

"An amazing, unforgettable, and soulful moment. The warmth and affection of the hotel staff reflect the strong friendship between India and Japan."
