Accused in the NEET-UG case in Patna on Sunday.

As the links of leaked question papers of NEET examination are gradually opening up a lot of negligence seems to have been committed in handling and security of the papers in Jharkhand.

According to officials in charge of NTA coordination in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand the Economic Offences Unit team from Bihar had come to Hazaribagh in the previous two question paper leak cases. The team investigated the suspicious places and the school.

During the investigation, it was found that the plastic packet of the question paper, which is said to have been leaked, had been tampered with.

The back part of the envelope has been cut very carefully. In such a situation, there is a possibility of the question paper being taken out.

The officials said that during the investigation it was found that the question paper was delivered to SBI Bank Hazaribagh on 3 May 2024 through a Courier Service.

A vehicle of the network was used to bring the question paper.

The Courier Service delivered the question paper to the bank in Hazaribagh through e-rickshaw. Security was also not taken care of in the vehicle, by which the question paper was brought.

The sensitive question paper was sent to Hazaribagh on the trust of just one driver. In such a situation, the transport agency is being considered the first suspect.

It is being said that even in the bank of Hazaribagh where the question paper was kept, the rules were not followed. The receipt has been shown in just a small part.

The EOU team also reached the bank for investigation, where they took detailed information from the concerned officer.

There too the team has found signs of gross negligence.

The question papers are kept in 7 security layers, which are kept in an iron box. The iron box was supposed to open automatically across the country on May 5 at 1:15 pm.

But it did not open across the country. The second lock has to be opened with a cutter. When the digital lock did not open, the iron box was cut across the country with this cutter.

The officials said that the transportation used to bring the question paper is under suspicion.

They said that the question paper has been tampered with. It is a matter of investigation as to how the tampering was done.
