A disturbing incident has surfaced after a journalist alleged that he was attacked with a rod by a Rapido driver during a cab ride. The journalist said the assault followed a disagreement over safety during the journey.
While the exact city of the incident has not been officially confirmed, the vehicle number plate visible in the video indicates that the car is registered in Faridabad, Haryana.
The journalist said the driver assaulted him after he asked him not to hold a phone to his ear while driving and to keep both hands on the steering wheel. He stated that the request was made only out of concern for safety.
He also claimed that before the argument, the driver had nearly hit a motorcycle. Shortly after the warning, the situation escalated, and the journalist alleged that the driver physically assaulted him.
