Punjabi music icon Karan Aujla proved once again that he is more than just a performer—he is also a man with a big heart. At his “Border Breaking” live concert in Malta, Europe, he made an announcement from the stage that deeply moved fans across the world.
In front of thousands of cheering fans, he declared that he would donate his entire earnings from the show to help flood-affected people in Punjab. He immediately instructed the event manager to transfer the concert fee directly to the Punjab Flood Relief Fund.
This is not the first time Aujla has extended support to families affected by floods. Since the crisis began, his team has been working actively in Punjab, working together with NGOs to give essentials such as boats, food, refrigerators, medicines, and other supplies.
He has also used his social media platforms to appeal to fans and the public to step forward and help those hit by the floods.
Expressing concern for the future, Aujla said, “We are helping as much as we can, but the real extent of the damage will only be known once the water recedes. We must be there to support people even then.”
Punjab’s floods have left thousands homeless and taken away countless livelihoods. In the midst of this crisis, contributions from artists such as Karan Aujla, Sonu Sood, and Akshay Kumar are providing both much-needed financial support and a sense of comfort and hope.
