Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha is intensifying her attack on the Congress government in the state in view of reservation of Backward Classes (BC).

She even compared Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's governance to a "China phone", contrasting it with the "iPhone-like governance" of former CM K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).

Addressing the media, Kavitha accused the Congress party of deceiving the BCs and manipulating caste population data to use it for political gains.

She is continuing to target the government's failure to give justice to BC associations.

"The Chief Minister is escaping from meeting BC leaders, which is a grave insult to the community," she said.

MLC K Kavitha reiterated BRS's demand for a proper caste-wise census and called for 42 per cent reservations for BCs in local body elections.

"The OBC caste census done by the Congress government is riddled with discrepancies and lacks credibility. The State must reconduct the survey transparently and introduce a bill in the Assembly. If they do this then the BRS will support it unequivocally," added Kavitha.

Kavitha, who is the former Nizamabad MP, also slammed the government for failing to release water from the Medigadda Barrage— trying to build on the agriculture issue.

She, further, said: "This government remains indifferent to the plight of farmers. Crops are drying up but the government does nothing."

Kavitha expressed confidence in the continued leadership of KCR and the BRS.

"KCR 3.0 and BRS 3.0 will make a come back for the people of Telangana," BRS remains steadfast in its fight for justice for BCs and the welfare of farmers across the state.
