Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that gates named after historical figures will be built on major roads in Bhopal to honour the state’s rich heritage.
He stated that these gates would remind people of the bravery and leadership of past warriors and leaders, bringing history closer to the citizens. The initiative aims to celebrate and preserve the contributions of Madhya Pradesh’s great personalities.
Along with this, the Chief Minister introduced new benefits for farmers. He announced an additional incentive of Rs 4,000 per hectare for paddy farmers, calling it a historic step to support the agricultural community. This amount will be given on top of the existing benefits.
The government had earlier set a payment of Rs 2,600 per quintal for wheat procurement, and CM Yadav assured that his administration remains committed to improving farmers’ welfare.
The state government is also focusing on long-term agricultural growth through projects like the Ken-Betwa River Linking Project, which aims to improve irrigation and water supply for farmers. Additionally, wheat farmers will receive an extra Rs 175 per quintal as a bonus, further strengthening the agricultural sector in Madhya Pradesh.
