Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao has requested the party leaders to begin taking constituency level meetings from this week in view of the next local bodies elections. According to Rama Rao, the BRS will focus on "exposing Congress government's failures, including betrayals against farmers and various sections of society."
In his statement, Rama Rao requested party leaders to also raise the failure of governance and sanitation at village levels due to the "incompetence" of the Revanth Reddy government.

With the Telangana High Court recently pronouncing that the elections must be held by September end, Rama Rao deputed district party presidents to arrange the meetings, where BRS MLAs, MLCs, MPs, ZP chairpersons, former corporation chairmen, and senior state committee members will be in attendance.
He added that the party leaders must initiate massive public campaigns to bring attention to the "Congress government's failure to deliver promises, its corrupt and undemocratic ways, and its governance failures." He also called upon party activists to make the people aware of the Congress government's insincerity in providing the 42 per cent reservations for Backward Classes as promised.
