In a shocking turn of events, Ludhiana Police have uncovered the chilling details behind the murder of Lipsi Mittal, the wife of prominent businessman and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Anokh Mittal.
Authorities revealed that Anokh Mittal was the mastermind behind the brutal killing, which he meticulously planned with the help of hired assassins.
According to the police, the motive behind the crime stemmed from Mittal's extramarital affair. Mittal, involved with another woman, conspired with his girlfriend to eliminate his wife. The police report indicates that Mittal made two unsuccessful attempts on his wife's life before finally succeeding in his plan.
Anokh Mittal, his female accomplice, and four hired assassins have all been arrested in connection with the murder. The police confirmed that Mittal paid the contract killers to carry out the heinous act. It was revealed that Mittal had paid an initial sum of Rs 50,000 and promised an additional Rs 2 lakh upon completion of the job.
The tragic murder took place late on a Saturday evening when Lipsi Mittal, along with her husband, was returning home from a dinner in Dehlo. Armed robbers attacked the couple, and in a horrifying sequence of events, Lipsi Mittal was murdered.

Ludhiana Police Commissioner Kuldeep Chahal confirmed that Mittal's extramarital affair was the primary motive behind the crime. His girlfriend, who was not present during the murder but played a crucial role in the conspiracy, has also been arrested.
Police investigations further revealed that Mittal had planned to kill his wife twice before but had failed both times. His desire to get rid of Lipsi was largely fueled by the discovery of his affair, which led him to plot her murder in collaboration with his girlfriend.
The hired assassins, who came from Sahnewal and Dhandari areas, executed the murder on Mittal’s orders. The police have seized the vehicle used in the crime and are investigating the criminal backgrounds of the arrested individuals, as the investigation continues into this shocking and tragic case.
