A court in Ludhiana, Punjab, has issued an arrest warrant for actor Sonu Sood in a fraud case. The case was filed by a local lawyer, Rajesh Khanna, involving an alleged fraud of Rs 10 lakh.
The court had called Sonu Sood to testify in the case, but the actor did not attend, which led to the arrest warrant being issued.
The court's order stated, "Sonu Sood, residing at Casablanca Apartment, has been served with summons but failed to appear. He is avoiding the summons, and the court has now ordered his arrest to bring him before the court."
The order also mentioned that the arrest warrant should be returned by February 10, 2025, with details of how it was executed or why it wasn’t carried out.
The next hearing of the case is scheduled for February 10.
