A mentally-ill college going girl has been gang raped in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Officials have said that the victim, who has mental disabilities, is a student of a private college and told her father about the incident and named the two accused.

Police said that the two accused had taken the victim to a lodge in Chennai’s Wall Tax Road and raped her repeatedly.

After the incident, the girl was suffering with physical issues, including stomach pain.

The victim’s father has said that the accused were introduced to each other by a mutual friend from her college last year.
