In the wake of ongoing deteriorating weather conditions, the authorities have issued advisories for travellers, tourists, transporters, and farmers.
Kashmir-bound travellers and tourists are advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories, as rain and snowfall trigger avalanches and also landslides at several places on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.

During the recent wet spell, at least three people lost their lives as a result of the adverse weather-related incidents in Jammu and Kashmir between March 1 and 3.
