After back-to-back visits to various tourist destinations in Telangana, the Miss World 2025 contestants indulged in sports on Saturday.
A celebratory mood filled Hyderabad’s Gachibowli Indoor Stadium as the contestants practised yoga postures, then competed in badminton, chess, and other games for Sports Day on Saturday.
Telangana Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla, and Miss World CEO Julia Morley attended the event at the indoor stadium.
Prior to this, the Miss World 2025 contestants paid a visit to the famous 700-year-old Banyan tree in neighbouring Mahabubnagar district and also the AIG hospital, known for its specialised treatment in different areas.
The contestants, who have been visiting various tourist destinations in Telangana, saw the giant Banyan tree at Pillalamarri, whose branches extend over an area of around three acres.
The Telangana forest department has identified the Banyan tree as one of the oldest in the country.
Miss World contestants were joined by Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao.

Besides this, twenty-two contestants from Asia and Oceania also explored the District Archaeological Museum, and the Rajarajeshwara Temple.
At the AIG hospital, the Miss World contestants were briefed about the advanced medical care facilities available.
Additionally, in a vibrant celebration of beauty, culture and environmental consciousness, the Miss World contestants visited Experium to a warm and vibrant welcome that showcased India’s rich cultural heritage.
The air resonated with the rhythmic beats of traditional Dhol drums, setting a festive tone. Each delegate was adorned with Gajjelu, a ceremonial garland symbolising honorr and hospitality, immersing them in Hyderabad’s timeless traditions.
The visit underscored the Hyderabad’s Experium Eco-Tourism Park's mission to redefine tourism while aligning with the Miss World Organisation’s “Beauty with a Purpose” ethos, spotlighting eco-conscious destinations that inspire worldwide.
Spanning an impressive 250 acres, Experium Eco-Tourism Park stands as India’s largest and most immersive nature-based destination.
The park’s commitment to sustainability is evident in every detail, from solar-powered facilities to water conservation systems and eco-conscious transportation like electric buggies.
The contestants, dressed in elegant attire, embraced the celebratory spirit, joining local performers in a lively dance to the pulsating rhythms.
After the warm welcome, the delegates embarked on a curated tour of Experium’s most captivating landmarks.
Starting from Sundowner Point to Buddha Inside Tree Spot to Red Tile Formation Spot and others.
Miss Japan, Aiko Tanaka, shared, “This spot feels like a sanctuary. It reminds us to stay grounded and connected to our planet.”
The delegates’ photographs here captured the delicate balance between human creativity and the natural world, reinforcing Experium’s role as a beacon of sustainable tourism.
Miss India, Priya Sharma, noted, “This spot is a testament to how nature can inspire creativity."
The Miss World contestants, representing diverse nations and perspectives, were unanimous in their praise for Experium Eco-Tourism Park.
