Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Friday that several infrastructure projects, including roads, expressways, and transit corridors, have been improved in Delhi at a cost of Rs 68,000 crore under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking at an election rally in Moti Nagar, Dhami praised party candidate Harish Khurana and his family, noting that Khurana's father was one of the founding members of the BJP.
"Under PM Modi’s leadership, India is progressing rapidly in all areas—roads, health, trains, infrastructure, science, and technology," Dhami stated.
He pointed out that many developed countries are surprised by India's fast progress under Modi.
Dhami emphasised that the BJP government has focused on major infrastructure projects in Delhi, including the development of roads, expressways, transit corridors, and railway and airport-related developments, totaling Rs 68,000 crore.

He also noted that the process of regularising 1,731 colonies under the PM-UDAY scheme is underway.
Discussing the Yamuna River, Dhami expressed sadness over its condition in Delhi, saying, "The Yamuna originates in Uttarakhand, and its water gives life to people. When I visit Delhi, I feel sad seeing the state of the river."
Delhi elections will be held on February 5, with results expected on February 8.
