Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to engage in two pivotal NDA election rallies in Andhra Pradesh on Monday, accompanied by key alliance figures, TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena's Pawan Kalyan.

The first rally is slated for the afternoon in Vemagiri, Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari district, followed by another significant gathering in the evening at Anakapalli in the district of the same name.

Prime Minister Modi is anticipated to touch down at Rajamahendravaram airport around noon.

His inaugural address will commence at 3.30 pm in Rajamahendravaram, followed by the subsequent engagement in Anakapalli at 5.30 pm, as per a local BJP official.

Dubbed as 'Prajagalam' (people’s voice), these concurrent rallies by the Prime Minister precede the impending assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh scheduled for May 13.

The initial NDA election rally took place at Boppudi village in Palnadu district’s Chilakaluripeta mandal on March 17.

D. Purandeswari, the BJP's face in Andhra Pradesh, is vying for the Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha seat, contesting against YSRCP’s G Srinivasulu. In Anakapalli, BJP’s C M Ramesh is challenging the incumbent party’s B Mutyala Naidu for the parliamentary seat.

Following Monday’s crucial engagements, Modi’s campaign itinerary includes another round in the state on Wednesday, May 8, with a public address in Pileru, Annamayya district, and a rally in Vijayawada, NTR district.

Modi's participation accounts for four significant campaign events in Andhra Pradesh ahead of polling day.

As part of the seat-sharing pact among the NDA allies, the TDP was granted 144 assembly segments and 17 Lok Sabha constituencies, while the BJP secured six Lok Sabha and 10 assembly constituencies.

Janasena is set to contest from two Lok Sabha and 21 assembly segments.
