Three men lost their lives, and two others were seriously injured when their car crashed into a parked lorry in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind district early Thursday morning, police said.
The accident happened around 5 am on National Highway-719. The victims were on their way to attend the wedding of one of the car occupant’s brothers when their vehicle hit the back of the stationary lorry, according to Bhind Superintendent of Police Asit Yadav.
The deceased were identified as Umesh Rathore, Mangal Rathore (28), and Akash Rathore (25), who died on the spot. The car was completely crushed in the accident.
Two others, Dheeraj Rathore (22) and Mahendra Rathore (20), suffered serious injuries and were taken to Gwalior for better medical treatment. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
