Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the ‘School Chale Hum’ Campaign 2025 during the ‘State-Level Praveshotsav’ programme held in Bhopal on Tuesday.
The event took place at Government Navin Higher Secondary School in Arera Colony (Old Campion), where CM Yadav extended a warm welcome to students, including newly admitted ones, by showering them with flowers.
During the programme, the Chief Minister visited an exhibition set up by students, showcasing their creative projects. As part of the campaign launch, he also introduced the Education Portal 3.0, a digital platform designed to streamline and modernise school education processes.
The portal will facilitate student admissions in both government and private schools under the Student Directory Management System, ensuring easy access to all information related to the School Education Department.
Speaking at the event, CM Yadav highlighted the government’s commitment to making education more accessible and efficient.
He announced a series of programmes to be conducted over the next four days under the campaign and emphasised that students have already received books and notebooks through government schemes to eliminate the need for families to purchase these materials from the market.
The government has also initiated a structured registration process to monitor admissions at the state level.
According to an official release, the School Education Department has taken steps to ensure that students receive free textbooks from April itself. The government will distribute 5.6 crore textbooks for Classes 1 to 12, along with 1.02 crore Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) workbooks and 26 lakh Bridge Course books to strengthen foundational learning.
As part of the campaign, multiple engagement activities will take place in schools across the state. On April 2, the "Bhavishya Se Bhet" program will provide students with the opportunity to interact with prominent personalities from diverse fields, including sports, literature, arts, media, police, and government administration.
