In a significant administrative overhaul, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 14 IAS and 50 IPS officers across the state. The orders, issued late on Monday night, included the reshuffling of collectors from five districts and superintendents of police from 16 districts.

In a key move, Public Relations Commissioner Sudam Pandrinath Khade has been appointed as the new divisional commissioner for Indore. He replaces Deepak Singh, who has been transferred to serve as the secretary of the MP State Election Commission. Indore's former collector, Ashish Singh, has been made Ujjain's divisional commissioner and also given the additional charge as the Simhastha (Kumbh) Mela Adhikari.

Khade has been replaced by Jabalpur collector Deepak Saxena as the public relations commissioner, while Indore Municipal Corporation's commissioner Shivam Verma has been made the new collector of Indore, an official said.

Agar Malwa district collector Raghvendra Singh has been transferred to the same position in Jabalpur.

Dilip Kumar Yadav, the former collector of Katni, is now the commissioner of Indore Municipal Corporation, with the added responsibility of being the managing director of Indore Metro Rail. Ashish Tiwari, previously the deputy secretary of the chief minister’s secretariat, will take over as Katni's collector. 

Preeti Yadav, who was serving as Jabalpur Municipal Corporation commissioner, has been transferred as the collector Agar Malwa in place of Raghvendra Singh.

Yadav is replaced by Indore Development Authority (IDA) CEO Ram Prakash Ahirwar as Jabalpur Municipal Corporation commissioner.

The list of transfers also includes several prominent IPS officers. Rajesh Singh Chandel has been appointed as DIG Bhopal (Rural), Manoj Kumar Singh as DIG Lokayukta, Hemant Chauhan as DIG Rewa, and Shailendra Singh Chauhan as SP Rewa. The reshuffle also saw Vivek Singh become Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-2 in Bhopal and Kumar Prateek take on the role of DCP (Zone 2) in Indore.
