In a shocking incident, a groom collapsed and died while riding a horse during his wedding procession in Sheopur city, Madhya Pradesh. The tragic event, suspected to be caused by a heart attack, took place on Friday night and was captured on CCTV.
The groom, identified as Pradeep Jat, was a former district president of the National Student Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Congress party. According to reports, he was in high spirits, celebrating his wedding procession with friends and family before the sudden medical emergency.
The CCTV footage shows Pradeep seated on horseback, making his way into the wedding venue, surrounded by a jubilant crowd.

Moments later, he is seen losing control and slowly collapsing. A man standing nearby rushes to prevent him from falling off the horse, while others quickly gather around to assist him.
Realising the severity of the situation, the attendees carried Pradeep to the Sheopur District Hospital. However, upon arrival, doctors declared him dead.
Eyewitnesses mentioned that before entering the venue, Pradeep had briefly dismounted from the horse to dance with his relatives and friends. His sudden collapse left the wedding celebrations in shock and grief.
Authorities have confirmed that a post-mortem examination is being conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
