Seven people lost their lives in a devastating multi-vehicle crash on the outskirts of Bengaluru early Friday morning. According to local police, the tragedy occurred on the Hoskote-Dabaspete National Highway near M Satyavara village, when an SUV traveling toward Devanahalli struck a motorcycle from behind.
The impact caused the SUV driver to lose control, leading to a collision with a canter vehicle, which subsequently dragged another car into the wreckage. Authorities confirmed that the motorcycle rider and six people inside the SUV died at the scene.
The deceased, suspected to be residents of Kothanur in Bengaluru, have been moved to Hoskote Government Hospital for post-mortem examinations. Police have registered a case and also initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
