Two more bodies were found under the debris at the site of a large hoarding collapse in Mumbai as the search and rescue operation continued on Wednesday, according to an NDRF official.

The bodies were spotted last night but have not yet been recovered said a civic official.

Earlier, rescue teams had recovered 14 bodies from the hoarding crash site, while 75 people were injured in the incident, according to officials.

A small fire broke out at the site in Ghatkopar during the search and rescue operation on Wednesday morning, but the deployed fire tenders immediately extinguished it, according to an NDRF official.

"There was a small fire, but it was extinguished immediately," the official said.

Officials said the search and rescue operation continued 40 hours after the incident.

The illegal hoarding, which stood on a piece of land in the possession of the Government Railway Police (GRP), crashed into a petrol pump in the Chheda Nagar area on Monday evening as the city was hit by dust storms and unseasonal rains.
