The breakthrough came after a recent bomb threat email sent to the Delhi High Court triggered heightened security concerns. A case was subsequently registered at the Delhi CEN Police Station, following which a detailed investigation was launched.
Police sources said the accused, originally from Bengaluru, is a postgraduate and currently unemployed. He lives with his mother, a retired government employee, in a rented house in Mysuru, while his brother resides elsewhere.
Officials indicated that the accused may have been suffering from mental distress and allegedly resorted to sending hoax threats to create panic.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the full extent of any network, if present, and the exact motives behind the repeated threats.
