Congress’ Sukhdeo Bhagat won the Lohardaga seat by 126991 votes defeating the saffron party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sameer Oraon. BJP had denied ticket to three-time MP Sudharshan Bhagat and given a chance to Oraon.
