Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Mayawati on Tuesday firmly rejected any understanding or alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party and asked party cadres to stay alert from such "misinformation".
In an X post, the ex-Uttar Pradesh chief minister stated, "As is known, the BSP neither belongs to the BJP-led NDA front nor the Congress-led INDIA block, or any other front. The party has stuck to the Ambedkarite philosophy of 'Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay' (for the well-being and happiness of all)."
Despite that, there has been a "misinformation campaign" launched by "casteist mindsets targeting Dalits, tribals and OBCs" to politically damage the BSP.
She described the reports of her joining hands with the BJP as "false, baseless and malicious".
Calling on party workers and supporters to be vigilant, Mayawati stated that such "dirty politics" are just part of political conspiracies to undermine the Ambedkarite movement.

"BSP workers should not fall prey to these tricks and remain cautious about being misled," said Mayawati. She restated that her party will continue to function independently, not as part of any caste-based political platform.
