A devastating collision between a car and a truck on the Pehowa-Kurukshetra road in Haryana on Monday night resulted in a car fire, claiming the lives of three young individuals and leaving one critically injured.

 

The victims, aged between 20 and 22, were traveling to Chandigarh to take an exam when the tragic incident occurred.

 

According to Station House Officer Satish Kumar, the car was hit from behind by the truck, causing it to catch fire. Locals rushed to the scene, but unfortunately, three of the occupants succumbed to their injuries before help arrived.

 

The sole survivor, identified as Ashish, is receiving treatment at a private hospital in Kurukshetra.

 

The deceased hailed from Pilani in Rajasthan and Rohtak in Haryana.

 

An investigation into the accident is currently underway, and efforts are being made to contact the families of the victims.
