A tragic accident occurred in the Pattrighat area of Mandi district on Tuesday when a private bus plunged into a gorge, leaving one person dead and at least three others critically injured. A total of 18 passengers sustained injuries in the incident.

 

The bus, which was en route from Juhu to Mandi, met with the accident amidst heavy rainfall, which is also hampering ongoing rescue operations. The District Administration of Mandi shared a video of the crash site, highlighting the scale of the mishap.

 

Rescue teams, along with local villagers, are working tirelessly to assist those affected. The authorities confirmed that two individuals are still trapped under the bus, and efforts are underway to extricate them safely.

 

The injured have been shifted to Nerchowk Medical College for treatment. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mandi, Madan Kumar, confirmed the incident and said that updates would be provided as rescue efforts progress.
