Investments worth ₹86,541 have been made in Punjab during the period of the last two and a half years, says the state's Industry and Commerce Minister, Tarunpreet Singh Sond.
The minister revealed that since 2022, more than 5,300 investment proposals have been received by Punjab, of which ₹86,541 crore has already been released, creating employment opportunities for nearly 392,540 people.
The minister further called for national and international industrialists to make investments in Punjab, claiming that the state's 'Invest Punjab' portal ranks top among 28 states in terms of efficiency.
At least 58,000 new small and medium enterprises made registrations on the portal, making a record in itself.
The minister further showed optimism, that with industry-friendly policies, Punjab’s industrial sector would soon undergo exponential growth, attracting even more investments to the state.

- Topan Specialty Films Limited (₹787 crore),
- Nestle India Limited (₹583 crore),
- Happy Forgings Limited (₹438 crore),
- Freudenberg Group (₹339 crore),
- OEC Metcorp Limited (₹309 crore),
- Cargill India Private Limited (₹160 crore).
