The police arrested a couple and their four accomplices for robbing a photographer.

In a shocking case of crime in Bhopal, a photographer was robbed of valuables worth Rs 16 lakh under the pretext of a birthday party shoot. The police have arrested a 19-year-old girl, Janki, her boyfriend, Aniket, and their accomplices for the robbery.

Ajay Kushwaha, a professional photographer from Bhopal, received a call from Janki on January 12. She hired him to photograph her birthday party. Later, she asked him to meet her at a petrol pump in the city.

When Kushwaha arrived, he was ambushed by Janki's boyfriend, Aniket, and his friends—Khalid Khan, Anil, Bunty, and Rajesh. The group stole his camera, phone, photography equipment, and motorcycle.

The police used CCTV footage from the area as a crucial lead in their investigation. The footage showed a car near the robbery scene before and after the crime. Authorities also discovered that the group planned to sell the stolen items soon.
