Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a three-day visit to Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam from February 23 to 25.
During his tour, the Prime Minister will participate in several significant events, including the foundation stone laying of a major medical and research institute, the inauguration of two key investment summits, and the release of the latest installment of the PM-KISAN scheme.
PM Modi’s Madhya Pradesh visit
PM Modi will begin his visit in Madhya Pradesh on February 23, where he will travel to Chhatarpur district to lay the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute at around 2 pm.
This institution is expected to enhance healthcare and research facilities in the region.
On February 24, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal at around 10 am. Organised as a two-day event, GIS 2025 aims to position Madhya Pradesh as a premier global investment destination.
The summit will host representatives from over 60 countries, senior officials from international organizations, and more than 300 leading industry figures from India.
The event will feature focused discussions on pharmaceuticals and medical devices, transport and logistics, industrial development, skill enhancement, tourism, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), among other key sectors.
PM Modi’s Bihar visit
On the afternoon of February 24, PM Modi will travel to Bhagalpur, Bihar. At approximately 2:15 pm, he will release the 19th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme, providing direct financial assistance to farmers across the country.
Additionally, he will inaugurate and dedicate a series of development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and economic growth in Bihar.
PM Modi’s Assam visit
Following his engagements in Bihar, PM Modi will arrive in Guwahati, Assam, where he will attend the Jhumoir Binandini (Mega Jhumoir) 2025 programme at 6 pm. This cultural event marks 200 years of Assam’s tea industry and industrialisation, celebrating the state’s rich heritage and economic contributions.
On February 25, at around 10:45 am, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025 in Guwahati.
The summit will bring together global leaders, international organisations, investors, policymakers, industry experts, startups, and students, fostering discussions on investment opportunities and infrastructure development in Assam and the northeast region.
PM Modi’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to advancing economic growth, investment, infrastructure, and rural development across multiple states, reinforcing India’s position as a key player in global and regional development.
