Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday attacked the Congress-JMM ruling coalition in Jharkhand for "ruining the lives of youth" through paper leak scandals.
Addressing a large rally in support of Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri in Chandankiyari constituency of Bokaro, the PM accused the Congress-JMM alliance of creating a "paper leak mafia" and a "recruitment mafia" in the state.
"We will find them and send them to jail. Modi will shatter all the plans of those who have played with the future of the youth of Jharkhand, ruining the future of promising young people," he said.
Attacking the Congress-JMM government over the reservation issue, the PM stated they were playing a new game to retain power.
"Congress has always opposed the unity of SC, ST, and OBC communities. After Independence, our Dalit, SC, tribal, and OBC communities were scattered, and Congress continued forming governments at the center through the principle of divide and rule," he said.
"But as soon as society united, our Dalit brothers and sisters were recognized as SC, and our tribal brothers and sisters as ST. Congress could never form a majority government after that," he added.
Modi also mentioned the 1990 reservation for OBCs, emphasising how the unity of different OBC castes had weakened Congress's political grip.
"Congress wants to break the collective strength of OBCs, dividing them into hundreds of castes and causing division. They want to sow discord between the castes," he stated.
"They want smaller OBC castes to stop identifying as OBCs and remain fragmented. Do you want the OBC community to split into 100 pieces? If it does, your voice will weaken," he warned, urging unity for greater strength.
Furthermore, Modi highlighted the NDA's commitment to improving the lives of women in Jharkhand.
He promised that after forming the government, the Gogo Didi Yojana would be implemented, ensuring direct financial transfers to the bank accounts of women, with no middlemen involved.
"I have come as a servant for mothers and sisters. Modi guarantees that money will go directly into the accounts of mothers and sisters through this scheme," he added.
