Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the concluding ceremony of the Jharkhand BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in Hazaribag on October 2. The Yatra was flagged off on September 20 by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had inaugurated another phase of the Yatra on September 21, while Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan launched a segment from Itkhori in the Hazaribagh division.
BJP National President JP Nadda, along with the Chief Ministers of Chhattisgarh, Assam, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, have also participated in the Yatra, which has so far covered a distance of 4,500 km across 24 districts, 74 assembly constituencies, and 202 blocks in the state.
State BJP President Babulal Marandi stated that around 16 to 17 lakh people have taken part in the Yatra. He further added that Prime Minister Modi will conclude the Parivartan Yatra on October 2 in Hazaribagh.
Marandi also mentioned that during the Yatra, it became evident that the people of Jharkhand are disillusioned with the current Hemant Soren government due to its "lies, fraud, and corruption." According to him, the people have made up their minds for a change.
Notably, PM Modi is also expected to launch several development projects for Jharkhand during his visit. Although the state administration has not officially announced details of the Prime Minister’s visit, the BJP has already begun preparations.
Sources have indicated that union ministers and chief ministers from various BJP-ruled states will be present during the Prime Minister’s visit.
