Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate projects worth Rs 21,000 crore from Tatanagar station in Jamshedpur during his visit to Jharkhand on September 15.
This includes a new railway line, the Vande Bharat Express train, and other projects.
The Prime Minister will flag off five Vande Bharat Express trains across the country, including the Tata-Patna and Tata-Baleshwar Vande Bharat Express.
Apart from the Chakulia-Badamara new railway line recently approved by the Union Cabinet, the Prime Minister will also flag off pending projects related to the third railway line.
A team from the Prime Minister's Office and the Railway Ministry recently visited the Tatanagar station area. For the Prime Minister's security, the team conducted a survey using a drone and took pictures of the area to manage his movement.
During this time, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Police teams were also present.
In preparation for the programme, arrangements are being made for a stage, seating, and parking for about 500 people in front of Tatanagar station.
To review the preparations, South Eastern Railway General Manager Anil Mishra will visit Tatanagar station on Wednesday and provide instructions to finalise the arrangements.
PM Modi’s visit is being seen as a boost for the State BJP unit ahead of the Jharkhand Assembly elections, for which the BJP is making extensive efforts by mobilising its cadres in the state.
