Haryana’s BJP state unit held rounds of meetings with the leaders to ensure the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on December 9 in Panipat.
PM Modi will launch the ‘Bima Sakhi’ scheme of Life Insurance Company (LIC) in the state to empower women. Back in 2015, the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Pahao’ campaign was also launched from Panipat.
For the preparations, the stage is settled in Sector 13/17 of the state. Former MP Sanjay Bhatia along with Dr Archana Gupta and ADC Pankaj Yadav reviewed the arrangements for the venue on Wednesday.
Previously, in the week, Bhatia along with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Virender Kumar Dahiya conducted a meeting in the mini secretariat with the administrative and the LIC officials to discuss the preparations for the event.
Special duties have been assigned to the officers during the meeting.
Media centre and a media gallery are also being established for the media persons, the DC said.
The DC also directed the officials of the LIC to mount the hoardings and boards at various places in the city about the programme.
Apart from this, the list of the officials coming from LIC headquarters should be handed over to the district administration to avert any trouble during the programme, the DC asked the LIC officers in the meeting.
