The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Friday announced the Class X board examination results for 2025, with three students achieving a historic feat by securing full marks.
Topping the merit list is Akshnoor Kaur from Faridkot, who scored a perfect 650 out of 650. She was followed by Ratinderdeep Kaur from Sri Muktsar Sahib, who also secured 650 marks but was placed second based on internal assessment criteria. Arshdeep Kaur from Malerkotla claimed the third position, also with a flawless score of 650, making it an all-girls sweep of the top ranks.
The overall pass percentage this year stood at an impressive 95.61 per cent. Out of 2,77,746 students who appeared for the exam, 2,65,548 cleared it successfully.
Continuing a consistent trend, girl students outperformed boys in the results. While the pass percentage among girls stood at 96.85 per cent, boys recorded a slightly lower 94.50 per cent.
