In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Gujarat unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has initiated a proactive campaign aimed at soliciting suggestions from the public to shape the party's manifesto.

Led by Gujarat BJP chief C R Paatil, the campaign, titled 'Viksit Bharat Modi Ki Guarantee,' seeks to engage citizens in contributing their ideas and expectations for inclusion in the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' (manifesto).

The initiative invites suggestions through multiple channels, including drop boxes, phone calls, the Namo app, and email, ensuring broad participation from across the state.

Paatil flagged off 'Viksit Bharat Modi Ki Guarantee' video vans equipped with LED screens, which will traverse each of Gujarat's 26 Lok Sabha constituencies to showcase the achievements of the Modi government and provide platforms for citizens to submit their suggestions.

Paatil emphasized the significance of this endeavor, emphasizing that it aims to gauge public sentiment and aspirations before the crucial Lok Sabha elections. He highlighted the campaign's alignment with the BJP's commitment to inclusivity and transparency in governance.

The campaign, launched by BJP's national president J P Nadda in New Delhi on February 26, employs various outreach strategies to engage with over 15 lakh individuals in Gujarat.

These methods include dedicated drop boxes, the NaMo app, a missed call number, and email channels to facilitate easy submission of suggestions. According to Paatil, the campaign extends to the grassroots level, with party workers actively engaging with constituents at the booth level to gather input.

Additionally, district-level meetings organized by various cells serve as platforms for soliciting suggestions. Paatil underscored the BJP's track record of fulfilling manifesto promises, citing a success rate of over 95% in implementing commitments from the 2014 and 2019 manifestos.

Expressing the BJP's commitment to incorporating public feedback into its manifesto, Paatil urged the people of Gujarat to actively participate in the campaign. He reiterated the party's pledge to consider all viable suggestions, underscoring the BJP's dedication to responsive and accountable governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As the campaign gains momentum, anticipation builds around the extent to which public input will shape the BJP's electoral agenda, signaling a democratic approach to governance and policy formulation in Gujarat.
