In a tragic incident, a petrol pump employee was shot dead by three unidentified men near Kheeranwali village on the Kapurthala-Goindwal road.
The incident occurred on Saturday night when the three men, who arrived on a motorbike, had a minor argument with the petrol pump employee, Kulwant Singh. After the argument, one of the men reportedly shot Kulwant, and the trio quickly fled the scene.
Kulwant Singh was rushed to a hospital in Jalandhar for treatment but was later referred to another hospital in Ludhiana. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The Punjab Police have registered a murder case and are actively investigating the incident. However, the suspects remain unidentified, and authorities are working to gather more details.
