Cold weather continued across Punjab and Haryana on Sunday, with Faridkot being the coldest at 2.2°C.
In Punjab, other cold spots included Amritsar, Pathankot, and Gurdaspur, which recorded minimum temperatures of 4°C, 4.5°C, and 4°C, respectively. Bathinda and Ludhiana reported lows of 4.8°C and 5.6°C, while Patiala recorded 7.1°C.
In Haryana, Karnal was the coldest at 3.6°C. Narnaul, Bhiwani, and Sirsa experienced minimum temperatures of 4°C, 4.1°C, and 4.8°C, respectively. Rohtak, Hisar, and Ambala recorded minimums of 5.2°C, 6.4°C, and 8.4°C.
Chandigarh, the shared capital of Punjab and Haryana, recorded a minimum temperature of 7.2°C.
The maximum temperatures in both states ranged between 21°C and 23°C. Chandigarh reached a high of 23.2°C.
