Punjab Police arrested a Jammu resident for his alleged links with Pakistan-based terrorist Shahzad Bhatti. The accused, identified as Raman Kumar alias Golu, has been apprehended by the State Special Operation Cell of the state Police.
Raman Kumar was also involved Ambala Police Station blast case and also provided financial aid to the perpetrators, informed the DGP of Punjab Police Gaurav Yadav.
Kumar is a key associate of Pakistan-based terrorist Shahzad Bhatti, he said, adding that a .30 bore pistol was recovered from him. The arrested accused was in direct contact with Shahzad Bhatti via Instagram and WhatsApp.
