The Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De) has confirmed that jailed Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh will contest the upcoming Punjab Assembly poll and be projected as the party's chief ministerial candidate.

 

The constituency from which he will contest has not yet been finalised. Senior party leader and Dakha MLA Manpreet Singh Iyali said a decision would be taken at the right time.

 

According to sources, Talwandi Sabon and Khadoor Sahib are among the constituencies being considered for Amritpal Singh.
