In a seminar organised on Punjab’s pivotal role in nation-building and its significant contributions to the Indian Army was held at the Chandimandir Military Station.
The event aimed to address pressing challenges facing the state, including drug abuse, socio-economic development, and the migration of talent.
The seminar brought together a diverse group of panelists and experts, including representatives from the civil administration, serving and veteran Army officers, the Narcotics Control Bureau, and members of civil society. Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command, delivered the keynote address.
In his speech, Lt Gen Katiyar emphasised the crucial role of Punjab’s youth in rejuvenating both society and the nation. He commended the panelists for their thought-provoking insights and urged all attendees to contribute sincerely to societal and national development.
