According to officials, the incident occurred around 6 am when the suspected quadcopters attempted to breach Indian airspace along the LoC.
Officials added that the swift counter-drone action by vigilant troops successfully prevented the incursion attempt, forcing the quadcopters to return.

This was not an isolated incident. There have been multiple drone sightings along the LoC and international border over the past few days. The Army has also intensified surveillance and counter-terror operations in the region.

Earlier on February 23, two balloons with the United States' (USD )and Pakistani currencies (PKR) attached to them were found near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Akhnoor sector, Jammu and Kashmir Police said.
