Calling Lord Ram the "center of faith for crores of Indians," Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday flagged off a daily bus service to Ayodhya from seven major divisions across the state, including Jaipur.
This move aims to facilitate pilgrimages for devotees seeking to visit the newly consecrated Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Stressing on pilgrim welfare, Sharma instructed officials to ensure the registration of all devotees traveling from Rajasthan.
He further directed the appointment of dedicated officers in Ayodhya to manage arrangements and address pilgrim needs.
This initiative fulfills the state government's announcement made on January 22nd, the day of the Ram temple consecration ceremony, to provide both air and bus services from Rajasthan to Ayodhya.
Highlighting the religious and cultural significance of Ayodhya, Sharma stated, "Today, Ayodhya has become a major cultural centre of the world."
The newly launched daily bus service will operate from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Bharatpur, offering convenient travel options for devotees across the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, MP CP Joshi, departmental officials, along with a huge crowd of people witnessed the flag-off ceremony.
