The construction of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is progressing rapidly, with a target completion date set for December 31. According to Nripendra Mishra, Chairperson of the Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee, the aim is to finish all works of the temple, including the first and second floors and the Lord Ram Darbar, by this date.

Mishra emphasised the importance of safety measures, particularly on the first floor, to prevent any accidents involving children. The committee is confident in meeting the December 31 deadline.

The 'Pran Pratishtha' of Shri Ram Lalla at the historic Ayodhya temple took place on January 22, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a group of priests performing Vedic rituals.

The ceremony was a significant event, attended by representatives from all major spiritual and religious sects in India, as well as people from various tribal communities and different walks of life.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is being constructed in the traditional Nagara style. The temple's dimensions are impressive, with a length of 380 feet, a width of 250 feet, and a height of 161 feet. It is supported by 392 pillars and has 44 doors.

The intricate carvings on the pillars and walls depict various Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses, adding to the temple's grandeur. The main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor houses the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram.

Since the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Ayodhya has seen a significant increase in visitors. Lakhs of devotees have been flocking to the Ayodhya Ram temple, and the number of daily visitors to the Hanumangarhi Ram Temple has also been rising rapidly. According to data from the Ministry of Tourism, over 1.5 crore people have visited the Ayodhya Ram temple since the consecration ceremony.

In a related event, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, during his visit to Laos, launched a special set of postage stamps in collaboration with Laos’ Deputy Prime Minister, Saleumxay Kommasith. These stamps are unique as they feature Lord Ram from Ayodhya and are the first in the world to show Shri Ram Lalla.

The construction of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir holds significant cultural and religious importance for many. The temple, once completed, is expected to attract even more devotees and tourists from across the country and beyond.

The efforts to ensure safety and the intricate craftsmanship involved in the construction reflect the dedication and reverence with which this project is being undertaken. As the December deadline approaches, the anticipation and excitement among devotees continue to grow, marking a significant milestone in the temple's long and storied history.
