Revanth seeks Harvard's tie-up to improve education in Telangana

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has pitched for collaboration with Harvard Kennedy School to improve education quality and human resource development under the Telangana Rising 2047 vision.


Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has made a strong pitch for collaboration with Harvard University’s Kennedy School for improving the quality of education in the state.

The Chief Minister is currently at Harvard University to undergo a leadership training course. Between the academic sessions, Reddy met Prof. Dustin Tingley, vice‑provost and head of Harvard‑X, and Prof. Jeremy Weinstein, dean of the Kennedy School, to discuss institutional cooperation in human resource development. He presented the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision document, outlining the government’s commitment to modern skill development, innovative frameworks, and large‑scale capacity building.

The discussions centred on scalable education frameworks, integration of contemporary skills into curricula, and the long‑term impact of robust human resource development. Revanth emphasised adapting global best practices to local needs for inclusive, future‑ready education. Modern skills development and the impact of human resources development on economic growth were also discussed.

The Chief Minister has enrolled himself in the executive programme, 'Leadership in the 21st Century'. The intensive schedule includes case analyses, group work, and interactive sessions running from 7 am to 6 pm daily.

Despite severe winter conditions in Boston, where snowfall has exceeded two feet and temperatures plunged below- 20°C, Revanth continued his academic and institutional engagements. He is scheduled to return to Hyderabad on February 2.
